Accessing Checklists Instance

To access the Checklists Instance module:

  1. Log in to Account Reconciliation.
  2. Select Checklists from the left navigation pane.

The Checklists page loads automatically and displays activated checklists for the current close period.

To view checklists for different periods:

  1. Go to the Period selector in the header bar.
  2. Select your desired period from the dropdown.

The checklist refreshes to show tasks specific to that period with calculated due dates and current completion status.

Understanding the Checklist Workflow

Checklists follow a two-role approval workflow with Preparer and Reviewer roles.

  • Preparer Role

The preparer completes assigned tasks and submits completed tasks for review.

  • Reviewer Role

The reviewer examines completed tasks and either approves them or rejects them back to the preparer. Reviewers can optionally add comments when approving but must provide comments when rejecting to explain the required corrections. The system displays all comments in the workflow history.
